The Deputy Lieutenant for Derbyshire, James Shuttleworth will visit the War Memorial, Market
Place, Hope late in the morning on Remembrance Day, Friday 11th November to lay a wreath on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant.
A public service of Remembrance will be held in St Peter’s Church Hope on Sunday 13th November at
10.00 – 10:45am. Following the service, the congregation will gather at the War Memorial to
remember and lay wreaths for those residents of Hope, Aston and Brough who gave their lives in
two world wars, observing a two-minute silence at 11am. All are welcome to attend.
