We have continued to work on upgrading Footpath 1 (from Hope towards Lose Hill and Castleton) with additional gravel to prevent the footpath becoming muddy and deteriorating once the dry weather ends. The pictures attached show some of the most recent work on extending the gravelled sections including the spur from Footpath 1 to Edale Road. Our thanks go to councillors Gordon Hopewell and Christine Ord, to Jessica Coatesworth and the Peak Park for their support, and to all the volunteers who have contributed to this effort.
